Nocturnal "夜曲"
My gosh.. i`ve turned nocturnal!! =s i sleep well in the day time...and i can`t even stay still while lying on bed at night...my gosh!!! arghghghgh...i need help!! =s

heard a song recently....quite interesting.. very nice tune.. it`s called 'Waltzing Matilda'...the original composer of the song is A.B. Paterson.. but i heard this song by Tommy Emmanuel in one of his concerts..he actually sang it also! :D haha.. lyrics have some REALLY weird words..words such as Billabong, Coolabah Tree, Jumbuck, Swagman..huh!??! O.o
haha..Australian slang apparently...

Once a jolly swagman camped by a Billabong

My Trip To Mount Kinabalu
Yea yea...i know it`s a little bit late(very i think =p ).. Beware, pictures galore..wahaha :)

Took Air Asia(obviously) there...left LCCT around 9.45AM one the 7th January 2007, and arrived at Kota Kinbalu around noon the same day. Met up with an uncle(classmate`s uncle) who took us around and helped us book our lodging for the stay at KK town and also for the hike..
Stayed at a backpackers lodge calld the North Borneo Backpackers Lodge. Met few ang moh`s there.

Got to know both ang moh`s a lot...apparently both have something in common, which is to travel around and enjoy their holidays.. Juha has been around Malaysia lot..loves to dive...lol..Devon on the other hand loves to surf(i tink).. and loves tattoo`s.. Paid RM500(i tink) for the dragon tattoo on his left waist..has a few more somewhere aroud..lol..
On the 8th January 2007, we got up and headed for the Kinabalu Park...

After 4 or 5 hours of hiking, we finally reached Laban Rata
Stayed there for a night, woke up at 2am, and started our journey to hike up to te top of the mountain. Unfortunately, it was raining and so none of us brought our camera, and sadly, we didn`t manage to take pictures of our journey to the top, and sadly also, we couldn`t manage to see the sun rise.. :( sighs..oh wells...been looking aroun deviantart and photokaki..managed to find a few nice pictures of the top...enjoy them :)

*I really like this peak.. it`s called the donkey ears peak(used to tink it was called the st john`s peak..ops...*blush*)..for some reason i like it so much..haha..looks weird but nice*

*this was also exactly how it looked like on the way down from the peak.. quite sad for my other friends, cos they couldn`t manage to reach the top due to the bad weather and strong winds..sighs..ohwells...*
so after all the hike, finally i ended up with this!
a certificate to certify that you have climbed to the top of Mount Kinabalu! and i did!! :D

Oh wells...after a 4 hour hike(me and Peng Keong were trying to beat 3 hours..haha =p ) from Laban Rata to the Timpohon gate, thus ended my conquest..
I went, I saw, I conquered. Indeed i did! :)
